Request for Proposals
 

The Steering Committee of Community Action on Homelessness is pleased to announce that additional funding for the Supporting Communities Partnership Initiative (SCPI) program has been allocated for the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). 

 

The Steering Committee is issuing a request for proposals for projects which pertain to the CAH priority areas. 

 

Proposals must also demonstrate:   

Ø      Sustainability

Ø      Completion by March 31, 2007

 

Eligible Costs include:

Ø      Purchase and Renovation of an existing building to increase the number of supportive and/or transitional housing beds.

o  Project management for 3 months

o  Properties must have appropriate zoning

 

AND

Ø      Capital expenditures for existing shelter, housing and service providers 

       (i.e.: Appliances and Equipment)
