Hello members,
 
Here is one more job posting. Usually I try not to send out more than one
Community Announcement per week, being conscious of everyone's already
overflowing inboxes, however this is time-sensitive with a deadline for this
Friday.
 
It would be great if anyone with events, job-postings, etc, could get their
listing to me by the Thursday before the event so that I will have time to
send it out a few days before.

Phoenix Youth Programs is seeking candidates for the position of CASE
MANAGER. 

 

This is a permanent, full time position. The successful candidate will case
manage an active youth caseload at Phoenix Centre for Youth.  

 

Responsibilities:

*	Advocacy and counselling
*	Program development
*	Supervision of volunteers, students, and youth
*	Administrative and community responsibilities

 

Experience:

*	Understanding the complexity of issues of at-risk and homeless youth
*	Extensive knowledge of community resources and the social service
delivery system and an ability to advocate within these systems
*	Work with youth using a youth directed and narrative approach
*	Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

*	Ability to work in a team setting

 

Qualifications:

*	Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years
direct experience engaging the skills listed above
