Songs for the ARk

A fundraiser for Ark, an outreach to street youth! 

Judy Savoy (actress/singer) and Micahel Veenema (guitarsit/singer) with 

young talent from Ben Diepeveen on Bass and Ryan Hemsworth on drums. 

Featuring gospel, blues, folk and rock. 

Special Guests: Hemsworth. 

Saturday June 9 at 7:30 p.m.

All Nations Church Tickets $10. waged and $5. unwaged.

A CRISIS IN THE COMMUNITY

Guest Speaker: Roy Muise

 

Roy has volunteered with our Branch for 15 years and is a Peer Specialist
with the Consumer Initiative Centre - a program of the Self-Help Connection.
He is involved with mental health issues at the local, provincial and
national level.   During the last 2 weeks of June he is participating in
Mental Health Conferences in France, including the European Division of the
World Health Organization.

Open House - Community Mental Health Services, Bayers Road

 

June 21st, 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Please come celebrate the opening of our new location and the future
opportunities for mental health in Halifax.

 

We would be glad to show you around, share some great food and hear from you
about how we can work together to improve mental health in the community.
We think the possibilities are endless!

 

We will "officially" open our new location with a ribbon cutting ceremony at
3:00 p.m.
